Frostburg Day Camp

Description

The Frostburg Parks & Recreation Department offers a Summer Day Camp from June – August for children ages 5 to 12. Children DO NOT have to be residents of Frostburg to register. The camp operates out of Beall Elementary School and offers a wide variety of activities including, arts & crafts, computer instruction, swimming, outdoor games, and field trips. Field trips are taken weekly throughout the summer. Trips are all located within walking distance from the school. Campers visit the FSU planetarium, the fire and police departments, and various local businesses to sample their products and learn what they do everyday. The Summer Day Camp Program is designed to nurture the overall development of the child. We fully expect to create an environment in which each camper will derive physical, mental, emotional, and social benefits from their camp participation. Our goal is to leave each individual camper with positive memories that will last a lifetime.Camp Hours:  Monday - Friday,  9 am - 4 pm
