NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Ordinance 2019-07: Infrastructure Bonds, 2019 Series B
The Mayor and City Council of The City of Frostburg will conduct a public hearing during their regular monthly City Council Meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2019 to receive PUBLIC COMMENT on an Ordinance authorizing an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $2,900,000 of public debt (the “Bonds”) to be issued under the State of Maryland’s Local Government Infrastructure Financing Program, pursuant to the authority of Sections 4-101 through 4-255 of the Housing and Community Development Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended. The purpose of this debt is to (i) finance or refinance a portion of the costs of improvements to the City’s existing public safety building to establish the Frostburg Municipal Center, including ADA upgrades, additions to the building and related items, (ii) to fund reserves and (iii) to pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds.
