Active Projects :

  • General repairs and upgrades for Water (ex. service lines, water mains, fire hydrants,) Sewer (ex. catch basins, sewer lines,) and the Water treatment plant (ex. feed lines, distribution lines, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
  • General repairs and purchase of equipment for the Public Works Department.
  • Repairs and upgrades to aging and/or inoperable reservoir and pump station components that provides a majority of the municipal water supply
  • Updates to the water meter system to include the purchase and installation of radio read meters and related software components
  • Design and installation of a welcome sign 
  • Design and construction of parking lot on Mechanic Street 
  • CSO Phase X-A 
  • Water treatment plant actuator replacement 
  • Construction of a child development center
  • Centennial Street water line replacement
  • The completion of a comprehensive plan

Approved Projects (slated to begin on or before Dec 31, 2024) :

  • Transfer funds to Fire Department for the purchase of a ladder truck 
  • Purchase of a plow truck 
  • The construction of a restroom facility at Hoffman Park
