Street Sweeping

The responsibility for street sweeping is shared by the Frostburg Street Department and the District 6 chapter of the State Highway Administration (SHA).  SHA typically sweeps Main Street annually in the spring, and all other streets within City limits are swept between April-July. Please contact the Street Department for a street sweeping schedule.

Paving

The city uses a priority list to decide which streets to pave based on lifespan of the existing road, number of residents affected, and condition of the road. For more information on paving and street construction projects, call 301-689-6000, ext. 111.
