Meeting Date & Time

The Frostburg Ethics Commission meets on an as-needed basis, or, at minimum, 1-2 times per year.

Responsibilities

The Ethics Commission is an appointed panel that is part of the government oversight required by both the City Code and the Annotated Code of Maryland. State law dictates certain annual and election year financial reports that are assessed by the Commission. In addition, they can be part of the complaint process if any impropriety has been claimed regarding an elected official or senior management employee. The City Administrator serves as staff to the Commission.
