Main St & Mechanic St Closure – Thur, Oct. 30th

FROSTBURG HALLOWEEN PARADE & PARTY TRAFFIC DETOURS

Please plan your travel accordingly.

  • Main Street will be closed from Grant Street to Armstrong Avenue from 5:30PM - 7:30PM.
  • Main Street access from side streets in that area will be closed at that time as well.
  • Parking will be prohibited from 3:00PM - 7:30PM on Main Street from Water Street to Bowery Street.
  • Mechanic Street will be closed between Broadway & Water, and Water Street will be closed from Mechanic Street to Park Street from 7PM-9PM during the Halloween Party at City Place and the Trunk or Treat in the Armstrong Insurance Garage.

Please be aware of the traffic pattern and parking changes during the Halloween parade & Party and follow posted detour routes. Expect slow drive times, heavy pedestrian traffic, and a lot of kids in costume in the vicinity from 5-9pm. Please be patient and use caution when driving in the downtown area at that time.
