FROSTBURG, MARYLAND

Separate sealed bids for the replacement of “ADA FISHING PIER AT PINEY
RESERVOIR”, consisting of approximately 40 tons of hot mix asphalt, half of it being base course
and the other half being surface course, and 576 square feet of pressure treated/water and rot
resistant lumber as directed by the City Engineer in Frostburg, and miscellaneous work will be
received at City Hall Municipal Center PO BOX 440, 37 S Broadway, Frostburg, MD 21532, until
Tuesday, August 15, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8,
2023 at 9:00am, at the project site located along Piney Run Road, in Garrett County, adjacent to
Piney Reservoir.

This work shall include the construction of a new ADA fishing pier built using pressure
treated or water and rot resistant lumber, HMA paving in conjunction with engineered specs, and all
necessary tie ins.

Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Frostburg Mayor and
Council, 37. Broadway Street, P.O. Box 440, Frostburg, Maryland 21532, and marked on the
outside of the envelope “BID FOR ADA FISHING PIER AT PINEY RESERVOIR” BY 9:00 A.M.
ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, OR YOU MAY HAND CARRY THE BID TO CITY HALL MUNICIPAL CENTER, 37. BROADWAY
STREET, BY 9:00 A.M.

Bids will be read out loud at a meeting open to the public at 9:00am on Tuesday, August 15,
2023 at the City municipal building. 37 Broadway Street, Frostburg, MD 21532 in room 100.
Note project funding sources are subject to Garrett County POS requirements.
