ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

FOR REPLACEMENT OF ROOF AT

CIY STREETS BUILDING FOR

CITY OF FROSTBURG.

 FROSTBURG, MARYLAND   

Separate sealed bids for the replacement of “ROOF AT CITY STREETS BUILDING”, consisting of approximately 5900 square feet of RUBBER MEMBRANE roofing and other areas as directed by the City Engineer in Frostburg, and miscellaneous work will be received at City Hall Municipal Center PO BOX 440, 37 S Broadway, Frostburg, MD 21532, until Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10:00am, at the Frostburg Streets Department Building, 160 S Water Street, Frostburg, MD 21532.

This work shall include the furnishing and placing of a new rubber membrane roof system and all necessary tie ins and water proofing.

Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Frostburg Mayor and Council, 37. Broadway Street, P.O. Box 440, Frostburg, Maryland 21532, and marked on the outside of the envelope “BID FOR REPLACEMENT OF ROOF AT CITY STREETS BUILDING”  by 11:00 a.m. on  Thursday, September 22, or you may hand carry the bid to City Hall Municipal Center, 37. Broadway Street, by 11:00 a.m.

Bids will be read out loud at a meeting open to the public at 11:00am on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the City municipal building. 37 Broadway Street, Frostburg, MD 21532 in room 100.

Note this project is subject to federal funding requirements for contracts and contractors.

The Frostburg Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities as the interest of the Mayor and Council may require.
