Water Department – Laborer/Equipment Operator

The City of Frostburg, Maryland is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer/Equipment Operator in the Water Department.  Both entry-level and experienced applicants will be considered for this position.  CDL Driver’s License and experience with underground utility construction and maintenance, and/or equipment operating experience is preferred.  Applicants without CDL’s must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a CDL within six months. The duties of the position are assigned by the Water Department Supervisor and may include nights, weekends, and holidays due to emergencies. The starting hourly rate for the position will range from $16 to $20/hr, based on experience. Uniforms are provided.
