Hello, I live in Frostburg on Spring St. I have no designated driveway, many of my neighbors on the same side of the street don't either, and must rely on street parking to access my home. There are many times where I am unable to find a parking spot close to my home and must park farther away due to random people taking all the street parking by my home. When I am able to find a closer spot, people park in front of my home to where it is difficult to access my sidewalk and get inside. I would like if there could be designated street parking for myself and my neighbors. At least one spot per home, so I am not constantly stressed on whether or not I will be able to easily access my home of residence. Thank you for taking the time to look at my request, I hope we are able to arrange something moving forward.

Thanks for reaching out. The rental units located at 163-165 Spring Street do not require additional off-street parking, as the property is classified as an existing non-conformity. This means that the use of land, and or use of structures and land in combination were lawful before the City's Zoning Ordinance was passed and amended. As long as the property continues to remain in the Rental Housing Program, parking may remain as an existing non-conformity. We understand your concerns and suggest you have a conversation with your landlord to discuss your parking situation.
