With the traffic diverted off of Main Street today (because of the water main break). Ormand  Street was inundated with nonstop traffic, including semis. I work at Wholesome Harvest and it was dangerous for me to walk to work. I could not walk on certain sidewalks due to not being shoveled. I am well equipped to walk with boots and proper gear.  Intersections  were blocked at sidewalks.etc. What is the standard for clearing sidewalks here? I have
Personally shoveled four houses down to help.

Hi Pamela,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Frostburg City code mandates that the owner of a property (Business, residential, churches, etc) is responsible for clearing the sidewalks adjacent to their property 24 hours after the end of a continuous snowfall that produces accumulation of at least 6 inches of snow.

I will talk to our code enforcement officer about Ormand Street.
