Dear officer,

I am a faculty at Frostburg State University and the reason to write this email is to understand if I can get my security deposit back from my previous landlord.

I moved from 107 S Broadway, Apt 7, Frostburg, MD to 38 Maple St, Frostburg, MD and I am currently living at 38 Maple St as of November, 01, 2023. I informed my landlord, S&R Investments (Jami Thrush, 21419 Chesapeake Ave SW, McCoole, MD 21562),  on Septermber 21, 2023 that I don't want to stay anymore after October, 2023. The landlord suggested that my security deposit will be returned by mail after I leave from my apartment. I paid my rent for October, 2023. It was a month-by-month contract.

After I moved, I texted several times but I did not get any response from the landlord. I have my lease documents and paid through the landlords account at M&T Bank.

Therefore, I need your support in this matter if possible.

Kind regards,

Rajib Barua
