911 Hang-Up - 02/15/2022 4:32 am

Officers responded to a 911 hangup with yelling and screaming in the background. Upon responding and investigating, officers found that a verbal argument had occurred among family members. No assault or violence had occurred. Police facilitated a peaceful resolution and the parties voluntarily separated.

Check on Well-Being 02/16/2022 10:43 a.m.

Officers responded to a business for a report of a customer crawling around on the floor. Officers made contact with the customer, who indicated that everything was fine. No further action requested by the store or needed.

Disturbance 02/16/2022 6:02 p.m.

Officers responded to a reported physical altercation that had occurred at an athletic event. One party left the scene prior to police arrival. Police viewed video and spoke with the parties involved. The parties were referred to District Court and a trespass/banned notice was issued.

Hit & Run 02/16/2022 9:15 p.m.

Officers took a report of a hit & run to a parked motor vehicle, with property damage, no injury. Investigation continuing.

Rx Takeback Event - 02/17/2022 3:00 p.m.

Prescription takeback event at Frostburg Heights Apartments. Medications collected for safe disposal. Contact FPD if you'd like to set up a takeback event for your business or organization.

Domestic Assault Arrest - 02/18/2022 12:12 a.m.

Officers responded to a 911 call with yelling and a residential alarm at the same location. Officers discovered that a domestic disturbance was occurring there and that one party hit the other in the face multiple times. The suspect was also prohibited from being there due to a pre-trial release order. The suspect was arrested, booked, and charged. FPD Officers transported the defendant to the Allegany County Detention Center for presentation at an initial appearance, where he was held without bond.
