2026 Bulk Pickup Event
2026 Bulk Pickup Event: Tuesday, May 19th - Thursday, May 21st
Please read through the following information to help make this Citywide event smooth and successful.
- Bulk pickup is provided for City residential garbage customers ONLY. Commercial or dumpster customers are NOT eligible.
- Collection occurs on your NORMAL GARBAGE COLLECTION DAY.
- Please limit your garbage to 1 pickup truck bed load and bag/bundle all small items for easy collection.
- The City will NOT pickup appliances with Freon-based refrigerants, tires, batteries, televisions/computer monitors with "picture tubes," paint, chemicals, or hazardous materials.
- Residents are reminded to NOT place any items at or near the curb that day that they do not want picked up.
- Individuals sorting/picking through curbside items prior to pickup are expected to be respectful of property owners. Do not make a mess! Opening garbage bags, emptying trash cans, etc. into yards or streets is not permitted. Violators will be subject to citations and fines. Residents should report violators to Frostburg City Police at 301-689-3000 and be prepared to provide detailed info including location, description of individuals, vehicles and license plate number if possible. Cell phone photos may be helpful as well.
One-time special bulk pickup can be arranged outside of the Bulk Pickup Event for a pre-paid fee. To schedule a one-time special bulk pickup, please call the Finance Department at 301-689-6000.
