Extreme Cold Warning & Warming Center

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for our area from 7:00 PM Monday, January 26 through 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 27. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as negative 25 are possible. 

Warming Center

If you are without heat or need relief from the dangerously cold temperatures, the Frostburg Police Department, located at 37 S Broadway, will continue to serve as a warming center 24/7 through Tuesday, January 27 at Noon.
