Unsolicited Mailing Alert: “American Water Resources” Not Affiliated with the City

SPAM MAILING ALERT: Not Affiliated with the City of Frostburg

Frostburg residents have reported receiving a letter from a company called American Water Resources of Maryland offering water and sewer line protection services. Please be advised:

1. This company is NOT affiliated with the City of Frostburg.
2. The City's official water leak protection provider is ServLine.

In partnership with ServLine, the City of Frostburg recently launched a Leak Protection Program, automatically included for all single-unit residential utility customers. This is the only program through which leak adjustments will be made for leaks occurring after August 1, 2025.

Customers may decline ServLine participation at any time by calling (888) 752-0339. However, if you opt out, you will be responsible for the full cost of any leak-related charges on your water bill.

If you receive promotional materials from American Water Resources or any other company, know that they are not endorsed or recommended by the City.
