Mr. Dunn,

Water and trash is provided by the City. Transferring water and trash into the new owners name is done with information we receive from the closing agent (title company/lawyer office) which happens at closing.  

Gas would be provided by Columbia Gas of Maryland. Contact number for them is 1-888-460-4332.

Hello,

Would you please send your address and we can install a shade on the light so it does not shine directly into your house.  

Residents have been requesting that these lights be replaced.  They were LED lights previously as well, but the LED lights do not "burn out", but rather dim.  They had "dimmed" beyond their rated life span and were providing little to no public safety benefit.

New Lights On S Water St Are Too Bright

Dear City of Frostburg,

The new lights on South Water Street are too bright for a residential area. They are about 20 times brighter than the previous ones. They are about as bright as ambient daylight when measured inside our house near the windows, so half of our house is effectively in daylight conditions for 24 hrs of the day. The lights are so bright that they directly illuminate large portions of the inside of our house, including the bedrooms.

Hello, 

I will be buying a home in, and moving to, Frostburg on March 4, 2022.  I am confused on who to contact to set up the following utilities

Water

Gas

Trash

 

Can I get the company name and contact information to set up each of the  utilities?
