My wife and I moved to Frostburg from Texas in 2022. She is originally from Lonaconing. I have retired here and I have made numerous new friends. I am happy here and feel this is a very nice town to retire. Our neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. The only reason I am writing to you today is to tell you that you have a beautiful town here BUT the old building with the cones around it on Main Street is such a sore sight. It drags away beauty from the entire block it sits on. Is there a reason why it hasn't been upkept or taken down? I was just curious that's all.
Hi Susan! Thanks for letting us know the Mt. Pleasant cardboard recycling bin is full. Those bins are picked up weekly on Thursdays. We do have additional cardboard recycling bins at Glendenning Park, the Pool, and near the Dog Park should you find your most convenient location full. Enjoy the pickleball court!

Good Afternoon! My husband, Marty Fair, recently took some cardboard to the recycling bin at "Mt. Pleasant Street Park", and reported that the bin is full. I'm not sure how often the contents of that bin is collected, but we wanted to give you a heads-up! Also, we were pleased to see that the installation of the pickle-ball court at "Mt. Pleasant Street Park" is complete!
