Greetings,
along the backside of 201 university drive, frostburg, MD, is a circular break in the pavement with mushy ground underneath. It is in the right of way of the thruway alley and backs up to the parking lot of the property. We had Miss Utility come out, and one of the agencies marked the area, while another agency person left a voicemail advising potential sewer or water line.
if this hole is left alone, it will cause a giant sink-hole, dangerous enough to damage traveling vehicles.
Thank you! We recently switched to a new public meeting platform, and it appears that one of the menus was still linked to the previous meeting platform. We have updated the link. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention! Have a nice weekend.
Could you kindly let us know which page still lists the previous mayor? On our end, it appears to display the current administration: https://www.frostburgcity.org/citycouncil. However, we understand that we may have missed something and would greatly appreciate your help in ensuring the most up-to-date information is reflected.
Thank you for reaching out. If the dumpster is placed entirely on private property, such as a yard or driveway, there are no restrictions on its size, and no further action is required from the City.
However, if the dumpster needs to be placed on the street, a temporary dumpster permit is required. While there is no cost for this permit, approval from both our Street Department Supervisor and the Police Chief is necessary to ensure the placement does not interfere with traffic flow.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We're happy to assist.

Hello,
A great website can be the lifeline of a small business—especially when times get tough. I saw this firsthand when a local bakery in my town, struggling with declining foot traffic, revamped its website to offer online orders, virtual baking classes, and a blog full of sweet inspiration. Not only did they keep their doors open, but they gained loyal customers from all over!
