NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Ordinance 2026-01

The City of Frostburg Mayor and City Council will conduct a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be held at 37 S. Broadway, in the Meeting Room of the Frostburg Municipal Center, and will also be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on the following ordinance, which was introduced during the Mayor and City Council meeting on December 16, 2025:

Ordinance 2026-01
Amendment of the City's Zoning Ordinance by Adding the Artisan/Small-Scale Manufacturing Land Use as a Permitted Use in All Residential Districts, and Changing the Classification of that Use from a Special Exception Use to Permitted Use in all Commercial Districts.

The ordinance is available for review on the City’s website at www.frostburgcity.org. Printed copies may be requested at Frostburg City Hall.
